Automated system for filtering and transferring pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes from a conveyor belt to a secondary processing line.

Supply Scope

In collaboration with Hefestus, Shaniv Control developed a dedicated automation unit for handling pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes.

The machine is designed to receive roll-ups from a conveyor, validate their positioning and form, and then pick and transfer them individually to the next phase of production.

The core of the system is an ABB SCARA robotic arm, integrated with custom tooling and vision or sensor-based filtering logic. The precise and consistent movement ensures smooth operation at high speed without human intervention.

Shaniv was fully responsible for:

  • – HMI for real-time machine monitoring
