Automated packaging system for transferring milk cartons from the production conveyor and precisely inserting them into cardboard boxes for final shipment.
Project Application
Supply Scope
Shaniv Control was responsible for the design, programming, and integration of an advanced robotic solution focused on the end-of-line packaging stage at Tnuva.
The system features an industrial robotic arm equipped with a custom multi-gripper tool, engineered to pick multiple milk cartons simultaneously from the conveyor belt. The arm, controlled by custom code developed by Shaniv, lifts each group of cartons and accurately places them into shipping boxes with high speed and consistency. This solution streamlines the packaging process, reduces manual handling, and ensures precise packing patterns for efficient logistics.
Shaniv was fully responsible for:
-
– Engineering and integrating the robotic arm with multi-carton gripper
-
– Developing custom code for precise carton pick-and-place sequencing
-
– Synchronization with conveyor and box feed systems
-
– Ensuring reliable, high-speed operation with consistent carton placement
-
– System testing and commissioning on-site
